Adult Quran classes online, at your own pace
It is never too late to learn. Private, respectful lessons for adults starting from the alphabet, returning after years away, or deepening what they already know.

Many adults carry a quiet regret about the Quran: they can recite a little, or not at all, and they feel it is too late to start. It is not. Our adult students include parents, professionals, reverts and grandparents — often beginning exactly where you are.
You are not alone in this
Adults learn differently from children. You may feel self-conscious about mistakes, worried about being judged, or frustrated that progress is slower than you hoped. A private class removes the audience and the pressure. The teacher's only job is to help you improve, at a pace that fits your life.
There is no placement exam and no assumption of prior knowledge. The first lesson begins with a simple conversation and a short reading sample, then a plan is built around your goal.
Choose your path
Starting from the very beginning
You will learn the Arabic letters, their sounds and joined forms using the Noorani Qaida method, then move into reading words and short verses. Most adults are reading simple Quranic text within a few months.
Returning after years away
If you learned as a child and lost fluency, we assess what remains and rebuild from there. You will not be made to repeat what you already know.
Correcting Tajweed
Many adults read fluently but with pronunciation habits that need correction. Private Tajweed lessons target those habits directly and rebuild them properly.
Memorizing as an adult
Adult Hifz is possible and increasingly common. The plan is realistic, revision-heavy and built around your work and family commitments.
Understanding the Quran
Study translation and tafsir to understand what you recite, with Arabic vocabulary introduced gradually.
What makes adult classes different

- Clear progress — you will know what you have mastered and what comes next.
- Respectful communication — lessons conducted with adab and privacy.
“I started my Hifz journey at 28 — something I had postponed for years out of fear. My teacher built my confidence step by step.”
Ahmed K., Hifz student, London
Common worries, answered honestly
“I am too old to start.”
You are not. Adults often progress faster than children in the early stages because they are motivated and can study deliberately. The goal is not to match a child's speed; it is to read the Quran correctly for the rest of your life.
“I will be embarrassed.”
Every lesson is private. Teachers are chosen for patience as well as knowledge, and they are used to teaching adults from zero.
“I do not have much time.”
Two 30-minute classes a week plus ten minutes of practice on most days is enough to make steady progress. Consistency matters more than long sessions.
“I have a disability or health condition.”
Tell us what would help. Lessons can be adapted for mobility, hearing, vision or energy limitations, and we will match you with a suitable teacher where possible.
Frequently asked questions
Can I really start from zero as an adult?
Yes. A large share of our adult students begin with the Arabic alphabet. The teacher starts exactly where you are and moves at your pace.
Are evening or weekend classes available?
Yes. Classes run seven days a week across time zones. Tell us your availability in the free trial request and we will find a slot.
Can I request a female teacher?
Yes, female teachers are available for sisters, subject to scheduling. Mention the preference when you book.
Do I need to buy any books?
No. The teacher shares all materials on screen and can send PDFs for practice. If you prefer a physical Qaida or mushaf, any standard copy works.
Can I pause classes when life gets busy?
Yes. There is no long contract. You can pause or reschedule with reasonable notice, and resume when you are ready.
